I often refer to myself (lovingly and with pride, of course!) as a “podcast junkie,” and I don’t think that’s an exaggeration.
This year alone, I’ve listened to over 400 podcast episodes on every subject from faith to French, from the civil war to comedy, from science to social justice – and I’ve learned so much along the way.
My thinking, I’m sure, can be just as flawed as the next person’s, but I try to learn and grow a little every day. And this is also what I want for you: not the pursuit of perfect thinking, but the pursuit of daily progress towards your own growth.
That’s why the tagline for BlossomWriter is “Let’s Blossom Together.” This blog is not about me sharing from my throne of infinite wisdom because I am somehow better at life than anyone else. No, this blog is about me sharing what I’m learning on my own journey, so none of us have to go it alone.
So, without further ado…I’m sharing with you my top five favorite podcasts of 2019, in hopes that some of you will listen, learn and grow, too:
- Food Psych with Christy Harrison
- Your Body, Your Brand with Kaila Tova
- Ask Science Mike with Mike McHargue
- You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes
- The Deconstructionists with Adam Narloch & John Williamson
My list of favorite podcasts changes every year because I change every year. If you want to see my lists from previous years, check out these posts:
