My Favorite Podcasts of 2017

Yes, it’s true. I’m a podcast junkie. I listen to podcasts all throughout the week – in my car, while I walk my dog, when I’m cleaning or making dinner.

To be honest, though, I never really understood the whole “podcast thing” until I stumbled across one episode that intrigued me. That episode lead me to another great podcast, which introduced me to another podcast that opened me up to a whole world of other podcasts. And by then I was hooked.

For me, listening to podcasts is like sitting around a campfire with people I’ve never met. I laugh. I cry. I learn. I grow.

I’m not sure if listening to podcasts is for everyone, but I can honestly say it has been instrumental for me as I try to blossom into my best, truest self. So, I wanted to share with you my top five favorite podcasts of 2017, in case you’ve been looking for something new to massage your mind and feed your soul.

  1. The Robcast with Rob Bell
  2. You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes
  3. Ask Science Mike with Mike McHargue
  4. The [De]Constructionists with Adam Narloch & John Williamson
  5. SuperSoul Conversations with Oprah Winfrey

P.S. I listened to many other excellent podcasts this year, which made it very hard to narrow my list down to five favorites. But if you drop a comment below with one of your favorites, I’ll share with you an additional one of mine!
